Iranian, Indian FMs discuss bilateral ties, regional developments

IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and visiting Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj in a meeting here on Saturday discussed mutual cooperation and regional developments.

During the meeting, the two ministers called for the expansion of all-out relations and cooperation between the two countries.

Inauguration of Shahid Beheshti port in Chabahar helps expand mutual and regional cooperation between Iran and India, and also indicates the significant role of the port in boosting contacts and cooperation between countries in central Asia with other countries in the world via Sea of Oman and Indian Ocean, Zarif said in the meeting.

Indian foreign minister, for her part, called for the expansion of relations and cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
