IRNA – The Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Sochi, Black Sea coast, Russia, on Wednesday morning, to hold talks with Russian officials, including Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.


Zarif's schedule has not been announced yet, but according to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov the talks will be in the framework of constant negotiations between the two countries.

Zarif was welcomed by the Iranian Ambassador to Russia Mahdi Sanaee and Russian officials.

Zarif's trip to Sochi is a one-day visit.
