Tasnim – Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said his forces are planned to stage military exercises focusing on electronic warfare in coming days.

Speaking during a visit to the Navy’s North Fleet in the northern port city of Anzali on Tuesday, Rear Admiral Sayyari said the naval forces would stage 25 specialized war games in various fields by the end of the current Iranian year (March 2018).

Accordingly, a specialized electronic warfare drill would be held in the Makran region located in the southeast of the country in coming days, the commander noted.

Iran’s Armed Forces hold routine military exercises throughout the year.

The drills include electronic warfare, missile tests, intelligence operations, deployment of submarines, and relief and rescue operations.
