Leader stresses cultural activities

26 Jun 2017 - 11:48

IRNA – Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei on Monday stressed voluntary and well done cultural activities nationwide.

Delivering Fitr Feast congregational prayers on Monday, Ayatollah Khamenei said, '`Fire when ready’ does not mean lawlessness, scolding, and putting the false claimants in the demanding position or making the revolutionary trend of the country feel indebted.”

The Ayatollah said, 'For the time being there are lots of cultural gaps in the country. There are lots of cultural areas into which the enemy can infiltrate. Both official state organs and extensive popular groups have the duty to follow up the issue.'

“The revolutionary forces must be careful with the country's order, peace and enemies' abuse of the country's status, while caring for the laws of the country.'

'The revolutionary forces, who care for and are interested in and willing to lead the country towards its goals, are for the first and foremost accountable for such issues that have something to do with care.'

Meanwhile, the Paramount Leader appreciated strong presences of the nation on May 19 presidential election and on the international Quds Day, saying, “May our dear nation be honored due to their great deeds shortly before (the auspicious holy fasting month of) Ramadan, and also the great rally of International Quds Day.”

“The IRGC powerful attack on enemies was also a great work,” said the Leader referring to other Iranian nation’s major achievements.

Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Sunday night (June 18) that in a retaliatory attack, it had targeted Daesh command center in Eastern Syrian Province Deir ez Zor.
