Pakistan committed to remove all irritants for stronger ties with Iran: Security adviser

IRNA – Pakistan national security adviser says his country attaches great importance to its relations with Iran and is committed to overcome all irritants for improvement of bilateral ties.


Nasser Khan Janjua made the remarks during a meeting with ambassador of Iran to Pakistan Mehdi Honardoost on Friday.

Matters pertaining to the enhancement of bilateral relations, issues of security and border management were discussed in the meeting.

Nasser Janjua said that Pakistan attached great importance to its relations with Iran and is committed to overcome all irritants for its improvement.

Both sides agreed to boost up the level of cooperation in multiple areas to strengthen bilateral relations and to improve border management through better coordination and cooperation.

Iran, Pakistan civil and military officials in recent meetings have discussed border and security issues and pledged to do more regarding the border security.
