Iran’s judiciary chief stresses vigilance in face of enemies’ soft war

Tasnim– Iran’s Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani warned of the enemies’ cultural onslaught against the Islamic Republic, saying they have turned to soft war after failure in their attempts in hard war.

Today, the enemies know well that they cannot bring the Iranian nation to its knees through hard war, the senior cleric said in a meeting of high-ranking Judiciary officials on Monday.

“That is why they seek soft subversion via cultural onslaughts,” Ayatollah Larijani said.

He referred to Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei’s recent remarks on the need for vigilance against the enemies’ cultural schemes, saying “We are all duty-bound to stand up against this heavy onslaught wholeheartedly.”

In a meeting with a group of officials in charge of Rahian-e-Nour pilgrimage tours-which take people on visits to former war theaters related to the eight-year Iraqi imposed war on Iran- Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that cultural plots made by the enemies are more dangerous than security conspiracies and even a military threat.

“A military move taken by the enemy makes the nation stronger and more consolidated, but a cultural onslaught weakens [people’s] resolves and robs the country of its young generation,” the Leader added.
