IRNA – Spokesman for IranAir, the Airline of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Shahrokh Noushabadi rejected the reports that certain Iranian people have been prohibited from flying by new Airbus planes purchased by Iran.
 
Speaking to IRNA here on Saturday, Noushabadi said the issue has not been mentioned at any parts of the deal between Iran and Airbus to purchase 100 passenger planes from the French manufacturer of civil aircraft.

All Iranians are allowed to use the bought Airbus plane during the flights inside and outside of the country, Noushabadi added.

He further rejected the claim that the first Airbus model A321 which was delivered to Iran in Toulouse, France, on Jan 11 is prohibited from flying outside Iran, saying the claim is not true.

All articles of the deal with Airbus are under the international regulations, the official noted.

IranAir official further said the country will receive two other Airbus aircraft model A330 by the end of the Iranian calendar year, (March 20).

The preliminary contract between Iran and France's Airbus for purchase of 100 passenger planes was signed during the historic visit of the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to Paris in January, 2016.
