IRNA - Chairman of the Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi on Monday reaffirmed humanitarian aid of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Yemen.


Boroujerdi made the remarks in a meeting with a member of supreme council of Yemeni revolution in Tehran.

Iran spared no efforts to back Yemeni, Palestinian, Lebanese and Syrian resistance to the Israeli occupation, Takfiri and Wahhabi, Boroujerdi said.

Brave resistance of the Yemeni people and their campaign to liberate homeland from Saudi occupation is source of pride and happiness for Islamic Ummah and all freedom-lovers in the world, he said.

He expressed the hope that final triumph of the oppressed Yemeni nations over their enemies will be achieved.

The visiting Yemeni envoy, for his part said that he came to Iran to express gratitude to the Iranian supreme leader, nation and parliament for their humanitarian support to the Yemeni nation.

People in Yemen despite of political, military and economic blockade by Saudi mercenaries, US and and the Zionist regime have stood up to them and never yield, he said.

He called for Iran's diploamtic support at the regional and international forums.
