Tehran, Oct 29, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani and the visiting European Union (EU) foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini met here on Saturday morning.

Mogherini arrived in Tehran on Friday night to hold talks with the Iranian officials on the regional issues, question of Syria in particular.

After Tehran, Mogherini will fly to Riyadh to talk with the Saudi officials.

Further details about today's meeting will be released later.
