Iran's Kayson Co. ready to participate in Karachi’s development projects

October 9, The Iran Project – Some representatives from Iran’s Kayson Company have announced their readiness to participate in the development projects in Karachi, Pakistan.

In the meeting with Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah in the city of Karachi, some representatives of Iran’s Kayson company along with Iran's Consul General in Karachi Mehdi Sobhani, introduced the international company’s capabilities and capacities.

Kayson Company representatives also examined areas of cooperation with Pakistani companies in various sectors.

Introducing a number of Sindh’s important projects in different sections of transportation, building bridges and roads, sewage system, and an $ 80 million project of water supply, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah expressed his readiness to cooperate with Iran’s Engineering services companies in these projects.

Last week, Kayson Company representatives visited members of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), discussing the problems of the Iran-Pakistan’s trade and investment relations.

They traveled to Pakistan to conduct feasibility study on participating in different projects of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)

Also, Iran Ambassador to Islamabad Mehdi Honardoost also met CPEC Projects Director Zahir Shah on Thursday, both sides discussed those fields and areas in which Iran would be able to participate and play a role in completing the biggest ever joint economic project between Pakistan and China; a project that Pakistan has also asked Iran to join while completed.
