Iran�s Foreign Ministry has summoned Azerbaijan�s Ambassador to Tehran Javanshir Akhundov in protest to the recent forum of the anti-Iranian South Azerbaijan National Liberation Movement in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Tabnak.ir reported.
In a meeting with Javanshir Akhundov, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia and Oceania Seyyed Abbas Araqchi expressed Tehran�s strong objection over the Azerbaijani government�s failure to stop the event.

�Although the Islamic Republic of Iran has always�tried to see relations between the two nations grow deeper...such actions can seriously damage the development of bilateral ties,� he was quoted as saying by Press TV.
