Afghan immigrants launch campaign to fulfill Iran leader’s order

September 21, The Iran Project – A group of immigrants cultural activists has set out “blooms campaign” aimed at supporting talented students of Afghan immigrants.

Following Iran’s Supreme Leader’s order not to deprive Afghan children from education, even undocumented or illegal ones, a large number of immigrant students have been enrolled in Iranian schools and “blooms campaign” is  trying to provide facilities for them, said Omolbanin Ahmadi, the Secretary of Immigrant Student Association on Wednesday.

Referring to the historical edict issued by the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, a member of the campaign Seyed Jamaleddin Sajadi pointed out that we are completely ready to carry out the order.

The main objective of the campaign is to eliminate illiteracy and ignorance among immigrant community, he said.

He also expressed his happiness that Afghan children can study in their own language.

Having ordered to “honor all Afghan immigrants”, Ayatollah Khamenei showed that Islamic Republic policies towards Afghan immigrants continue to be developed in accordance with the ideals of the revolution.

Iran’s Interior Ministry also issued a decree that enabled Afghan expatriates in the country to get schooling for their children free of charge.
