15 Aug 2016 - 13:53

Iran exported more than 12,000 tons of non-oil goods worth $20 million to Australia during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 20-July 21), which indicates a 184% increase compared to last year’s corresponding period, the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration reported.

Copper, paraffin wax, stone, carpet, date (fruit), pistachio, raisin and saffron were among the main exports. IRICA said more than 4,100 tons of goods worth $9.7 million were imported, showing a 111% rise. The main imports included pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, ceramics, wood, machinery and paper.
