TEHRAN, July 27 (Shana) – Managing Director of Pars Oil and Gas Company Ali-Akbar Shabanpour said on Tuesday that goals of the Economy of Resistance are followed in production of gas in South Pars Field.

Shabanpour made the remarks in a ceremony to introduce and bid farewell to new and former directors of Pars Gas and Oil Company.

He said beyond 500 million cubic meters/day of gas is extracted from South Pars gas field and it falls within framework of policies of the Economy of Resistance.

He said that based of the schedule, six platforms will be operational by end of this year on March 20, so number of the platforms will hit 25.

The gas extraction will increase by more than 100 million cubic meters to 530 million cubic meters.
