13 Mar 2013 - 16:42

Iran will become self-sufficient in gasoline after starting a refining unit, which will produce 8 million liters a day (50,000 barrels) of the fuel, Iran’s Mehr News Agency reported, citing an official.
The residual fluid catalytic cracking unit, which will begin operations tomorrow at the Shazand Imam Khomeini refinery in central Iran, will produce Euro-5 standard fuel, said Rashid Seyedian, director of capacity enhancement project at the refinery, according to Mehr.
