Tehran, June 6, IRNA - Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hossein Jaberi Ansari said here on Monday that the US recent report on Iran is 'politicized' and 'invalid' due to lack of the most obvious facts.


Speaking to reporters at his weekly press briefing, Jaberi Ansari made the remarks in a response to the US claims on branding Iran as a sponsor of terrorism.

'The Islamic Republic of Iran is the victim of terrorism,' he said, adding that the world recognizes Iran as forerunner in the fight against terrorism.

In its annual report published recently, the US State Department accused Iran of being a state sponsor of terrorism.
