Qeshm, May 12, IRNA – Managing-Director of Qeshm Free Zone Organization Hamid-Reza Momeni said on Thursday that a 180-member Chinese delegation is due to arrive in Qeshm Island next week.

Momeni said that six working groups have been set up to help boost cooperation between China and Qeshm and the Chinese delegation is to visit the free zone within the framework of these working groups.

He also referred to his recent visit to China, saying signing of agreements between Qeshm and Guangzhou was among the major achievements of his China visit.

He said that in his visit to China he had signed agreements on exporting Qeshm's products, turning the free zone into the IT hub of the region and investment in different industries of the island, including, oil and gas, steel, tourism, fishery and agriculture.
