TEHRAN, Apr. 11 (MNA) – President of World Confederation of Physical Therapy (WCPT), Dr. Emma Stokes, is visiting Iran in May to attend the 27th Annual Physiotherapy Congress of Iranian Physiotherapy Association (IPTA) in Tehran.


According to the president of the congress Dr. Mohammadali Mohseni, at least 15 lecturers from various countries will attend the congress and prominent Iranian professors of physiotherapy who live in other countries such as the US, Canada, the UK and Australia will also participate in the annual event.

The congress covers a wide array of topics including manual therapy, movement disorders, pediatric rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, physical agents, corrective exercises, massage therapy, postural disorders, ethics and physical therapy management.

The 27th annual congress of Iranian Physiotherapy Association will be held on 4-6 May, 2016 at the Olympic Hotel in Tehran, Iran.
