Car bomb rocks Turkish capital, '27 killed, 75 injured'

A bomb blast has occurred in the center of the Turkish capital of Ankara, killing at least 27 people, reports say.

The explosion took place near the Guven park in the Kizilay district of central Ankara.

CNN Turk quoted the local governor as saying that least 75 people were also wounded in the bombing, Reuters reported.

The blast appeared to have been triggered by a car exploding near a bus stop, state-run broadcaster TRT reported.

Gunfire was also heard after explosion.
