6 Mar 2016 - 10:59

Tehran. Suleyman Farzaliyev – APA. Turkey and Iran have held successful elections. Today there is a positive atmosphere for cooperation between the two countries, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu made the remarks during a joint press conference with Eshaq Jahangiri, Iran’s first vice president, APA’s Iran bureau reported.
Davutoglu said that as foreign minister he tried to solve the problems in connection with Iran's nuclear program, and now this problem has been solved.

"We were on Iran’s side at the time this country was going through difficult times due to its nuclear program. We are most happy that the international sanctions against Iran came to an end. We may have had some disagreements with Iran. But between the two countries is historic neighborhood and complementary geography. If Turkey’s experience and Iran’s beauty are joined, the two countries will become the largest power in the tourism sector,” he said.
