Bosnian culture minister upbeat over Iranian women's role

Belgrade, Feb 22, IRNA – Minster of Culture and Sports of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zora Dujmovic said that role of women in Iran is commendable and remarkable.


In a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Sarajevo Hossein Rajabi, she welcomed presence of Iranian artists for the Iran Week and said that after studying Iran's society, she found the role of women commendable and remarkable.

Dujmovic welcomed expansion of bilateral relations in culture, sports, and tourism.
Rajabi thanked the federation's officials for hosting the Iran Culture Week and said that cultural relation can contribute to strengthening of other areas of cooperation.

He also said that half of the scientific achievements gained by Iran has been due to the efforts of the women.
'The Islamic Republic of Iran has put cultural cooperation with other countries among its foreign policy principles,' said the envoy.
