Rafsanjani denounces illogical allegations made by Donald Trump

Tehran, Dec 13, IRAN – Chairman of the Expediency Council Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani on Sunday strongly condemned allegations made by an American business magnate and candidate for President of the United States in the 2016 on preventing all Muslims from coming to the US.


Speaking to board of directors of Handball team, he called Trump's allegations as 'illogical and irrational'.
Referring to the birth anniversary of the prophet Mohammad (PBUH) coinciding with the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ, he said the happy event should be granted for all followers of divine religious mainly Muslims and Christians.
This occasion should be regarded as a suitable opportunity to resolve differences under the atmosphere of logic and reasoning, Rafsanjani said.
He said that implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) will prepare grounds for improved relations and cooperation with other countries.
He refuted the allegations made by US presidential candidate in the 2016 on preventing all Muslims from coming to the US as harmful to the US government.
Following such allegations, the White House immediately condemned it and said it was against the US values, he said.
Christians live in over 60 Islamic states and it is necessary all divine religions to live in peace, he said adding that extremist groups in Islamic countries such as Taliban, Daesh, al-Qaeda and Boko Haram have exacerbated the living standards in Islamic countries.
