TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Navy plans to send its 37th flotilla to the Gulf of Aden on December 1st, said Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari.

He said that the 36th flotilla of Iranian Navy is patrolling in the Gulf of Aden. “The 37th flotilla of the navy will be dispatched to the region on December 1st.”

The 38th flotilla of the Navy would be sent to Mediterranean Sea , Southeast Asia or South Africa, he said.

He further said that the Navy needs modern pieces of equipment for presence in high seas.

“Relying on our local know-how we have managed to build devices based on new technologies which have resulted in the Navy’s intelligence domination
