Moscow, Nov 18, IRNA – Tehran Mayor Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf and Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin here on Wednesday signed a three-year coopreration agreement between capital cities of Iran and Russia.

Development of urban transport, urban planning, public services, housing and urban infrastructure, business promotion, civil and social services, and development of industry and innovation are stipulated in the agreement.

Prior to the signature ceremony, the two mayors exchanged views on bilateral cooperation and expansion of bilateral ties.

Qalibaf and Sobyanin welcomed raising the level of bilateral cooperation between Tehran and Moscow municipalities.

Tehran mayor is scheduled to visit St Petersburg with which Tehran municipality has a cooperation agreement that needs to be activated.
