Tehran will host a conference on the Destructive Impacts of War on the Environment on November 10 to mark International Day for Preventing the Exploitation of the Environment in War and Armed Conflict with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Director of the Environment Protection Organization Masoumeh Ebtekar in attendance.

Head of the Center for Peace and Environment Hooman Liaghati said that a message by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will be read out in the conference and the Palestinian ambassador to Tehran will deliver a speech.He further said that the conference’s specialized panel will discuss the destructive impact of the measures ISIS terrorists are taking in the region.
