Saudi prince to be tried in Lebanon for drug smuggling

Lebanese Prosecutors Claude Karam pressed drug smuggling charges on Monday against 10 people, including Saudi Prince Abdul Muhsin bin Waleed Abdul Aziz, and referred them to the first investigator Judge Jean Fernini.

According to raialyoum.com, five of the suspects, including the Saudi prince, are in custody and five others are on the run.The haul of Captagon which was hidden in 24 parcels and eight trunks was seized at Beirut International Airport last week. It was owned by the Saudi prince and was en route to a destination in northwestern Saudi Arabia.
