Tehran, Oct 22, IRNA – First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri said on Thursday that Tehran is willing to enhance level of relations with Moscow once the anti-Iran sanctions are lifted.

Jahangiri made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Russian Energy Minister Aleksandr Novak.
Appreciating Russian constructive role in Iranian nuclear talks with world powers, Jahangiri said that Iran expects Moscow to continue with its key role to help the process of implementing the deal.
Referring to negotiations held between some Iranian cabinet ministers and the Russian energy minister, Jahangiri said that the two countries enjoy abundant capacities for cooperation in different areas, including oil and gas sector, electricity and industry.
As the next Iran-Russia Joint Economic Cooperation Commission is to convene in Moscow, the vice-president expressed hope that during this meeting, the two sides will discuss obstacles on the way of economic cooperation between Tehran and Moscow and explore ways to remove the obstacles.
Jahangiri asked the Russian minister to convey warm greetings of President Hassan Rouhani to Russian President Vladimir Putin and invite him to attend a meeting of Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) which is due to be hosted by Tehran in the near future.
