Iran achieves all goals in Frankfurt Book Fair: Culture minister

Tehran, October 21, The Iran Project –Iran's Minister of Culture says Iran has achieved all its goals in the 67th Frankfurt Book Fair.

Speaking to a reporter on Wednesday, Ali Jannati, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance noted the different presence of Iran in the fair, saying that Iran's protest in this international event has generated wide reactions in the media across the world.

He stressed that many media has delivered Iran's message to their audiences and released the footage of the Iran's active objection at the book fair.

"We made many efforts not to let enemies to abuse the Iran's empty stand and that's why we took part in the fair in this way," he further added.

Jannati notably explained the details of the measures that Iran's stand took to inform the visitors about true reasons behind Iran's boycott of the fair particularly distribution of leaflets of the Islamic revolution leader's message to the Western youth in English, Arabic and Farsi

During the Frankfurt fair, although Iran's stand had been left closed, the cultural measures, assisted by Iranian independent publishers voiced Iran's objection to the organizers' decision.
