Tehran, Oct 4, IRNA -- Chairman of the Expediency Council Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjnai said on Sunday that Saudi government must respect International Responsibility about negligence and inaction attributed to Riyadh government and punish the agents involved in human tragedy.

According to the public relations department of the Expediency Council, Rafsanjnai made the remarks in a meeting with people from all walks of life taking part in the funeral procession of Hajj pilgrims from Tehran.
Expressing condolences to the bereaved families, he called all aspects of the incident to be fully reported by the Saudi government.
The report by Saudi government should win trust and confidence of world Muslims, he said.
He advised Iranian officials to pay due attention to the victims families and never leave them alone.
