Tehran, Sept14, IRNA – Deputy foreign minister for Arab and African affairs announced here Monday that Iran has no plan to close its embassy in the Yemeni capital of San'a.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian made the remark in response to claims made by Al Jazeera media network that Iran's ambassador to San'a and members of the Iranian embassy there have run away to their country.
Iran's ambassador to Yemen is now in Tehran for a few days for a medical check-up.
He said the Iranian ambassador was present in Sana'a in all days of Saudi violation to Yemen.
Undoubtedly, Iran's Embassy in San'a will continue its normal activities.
Saudi Arabia has been warned about security of Iran's diplomatic sites in the Yemeni capital, said the top diplomat.
Tehran strongly supports the Yemeni people against terrorism, said he, adding Iran undoubtedly continues such humanitarian and diplomatic support.
He further stressed the need to hold Intra-Yemeni talks to solve the crisis, adding the issue of Yemen has no military solution.
Saudi Arabia with the help of nine other Arab countries except Oman has mounted massive attacks on Yemen since March 26, 2015. Thousands of innocent civilians have been killed or injured in the attacks.
