TEHRAN (ISNA)- Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi reiterated that the Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action (JCPOA) would not slow down Iran’s nuclear industry.

Iran would not face any slowness or stop technically after implementing the JCPOA, he said, adding the limitations would not make nuclear slowness for the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Certain limitations were agreed in talks (with G5+1) and this is definite, he said, adding the limitations include fields which Iran had not planned to enter into these fields for a period of time.

Salehi said that Iran had not planned to start building plutonium metal field by the next 10-15 years, moreover, there is no plutonium in Iran for building its metal.

Salehi further referred to Iran’s achievements in mining exploration and natural uranium, and said over 63 percent of Iran has been identified for mining activities and the remaining is expected to be explored and identified in the next four years.
