Iran, Austria should cooperate to solve problems: Fischer

Vienna, Sept 9, IRNA – Austrian President Heinz Fischer in his facebook page writes that Tehran and Vienna should cooperate to solve big problems.

Fischer said Iran-Austria relations are traditional and move towards betterment and even beyond that.
'Yesterday, I was welcomed by President Hassan Rouhani at Saadabad Palace and then we started serious working session, discussing clashes in Syria and campaign against terrorism.'
He underlined that both sides need contribution to solve the big problems. 'After talks with (President) Rouhani, I met Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution of Iran Ayatollah (Seyed Ali) Khamenei and Foreign Minister (Mohammad-)Javad Zarif.'
Besides the talks, the two sides also held discussions at an Iran-Austria Business Association at the Iran Conventions Center in Tehran on upgrading mutual economic relations,' he concluded.
The Austrian President and accompanying 240-member delegation arrived in Iran on Monday afternoon upon invitation of President Rouhani.
President Fischer conferred with Supreme Leader, President Rouhani, Judiciary Chief Sadeq Amoli Larijani and Chairman of Expediency Council Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani on cooperation between the Iranian and Austrian governments and the private sectors.
