Tehran, Sept 8, IRNA - Iran's permanent representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Reza Najafi said constructions in the Parchin military site are natural and not of the UN wathdog's concern.
Reacting to statements by IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano who said constructions in the site affect the agency's probe, Najafi said Parchin is a conventional military site and constructions in it are a natural phenomena.
'This is so evident that even US officials admitted it,' he added.
According to the agency's report, Najafi said, adding an extention to a building has been termed as unrelated to an earlier claim made by IAEA.
'Therefore, it is strange that the agency says addition of a small section to a building can affect its probe,' the envoy added.
He then urged IAEA to focus on the roadmap signed with Iran to settle differences by 2015.
