Tehran, Sept 3, IRNA – Majlis (Iranian parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani in continuation of his meetings with his counterparts in New York met Croatian speaker.

'Iran and Croatia can develop good relations in industrial areas, specially energy, and we are ready for doing so,' Larijani said during his meeting with Croatian parliament speaker.

He invited the Croatian parliament speaker to visit Iran in line with development of parliamentary ties, and said, 'Concurrent with this visit the two countries' chambers of commerce will become active.'

The Croatian parliament speaker, for his part, also called for the broadening of parliamentary ties with Iran, and said, 'Nuclear agreement with Iran has many benefits for the European Union, including Croatia.'
