The head of Iran’s Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization has said that Hajj pilgrimage this year is being performed as the Islamic world faces immensely important conditions, adding, “The extremist line of thinking seeks to paint a violent image of Islam which is a religion of compassion, and Hajj offers a great opportunity to promote kindness and Muslim unity.”

Saeed Ohadi said, “Hajj pilgrims who don similar robes and have similar intentions and objectives at heart are all equal,” expressing hope the remarkable potential of the pilgrimage of a lifetime can be fully tapped.
