16 Aug 2015 - 15:27

TEHRAN (ISNA)- The representative of the Islamic Revolution Supreme Leader in the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Ali Saeedi rejected reports about presence of the country's Quds Force Commander Ghasem Soleimani in Russia.

“The remarks show that American officials are laying the blame to obtain their objectives,” Saeedi said referring to the recent US officials’ remarks about Soleimani’s presence in Russia.

It is clear that General Soleimani is not in Russia because he delivers speech in Iran.

A senior Russian diplomat on Friday denied claims that the Iranian general visited Moscow.

“I have no information whatsoever that he visited Russia,” Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said Friday
