After Iran and six world powers signed a nuclear deal on July 14, Iranian airlines contacted European aircraft manufacturers to meet their needs, said the secretary of Iran's Aviation Companies Association.

Maghsud Asadi Samani added, “Given that ties between Iranian airlines and European companies is still in the study phase, actual cooperation will take 5-6 months to get underway.”

He also said, “Boeing has expressed readiness for cooperation with Iranian companies when the nuclear accord is finalized.”
