Gov't honored to use Ulema guidelines: senior official

Tehran, July 16, IRNA – Head of the Presidential Office, Mohammad Nahavandian, said on Wednesday that government is honored to use the Ulema guidelines in order to give better services to the nation.

Nahavandian made the remarks Wednesday evening while talking to reporters at the end of his visits to two holy cities of Qom and Mashad in Qom and Razavi Khorasan provinces respectively.

During his travel to those cities, Nahavandian met with five senior clerics.

About his meeting with the Ulema, he said the Iranian government has duty to give report to the Ulema on important national issues including nuclear developments.

When it comes to national issues, the country needs unity and convergence, he stressed.

After over a decade, Iran and the six world powers reached a landmark agreement on the nuclear dispute onTuesday.\
