Iran's daily electricity exchange with neighbors at 1,717 megawatts

Tehran, May 4, IRNA – Border electricity exchange of Iran with is neighboring countries on Sunday, May 3, amounted to 1,717 megawatts.

The Power Ministry reported that the country's electricity exports to Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Armenia reached 1,042 megawatts, while the Iranian electricity imports from Armenia and Turkmenistan was registered at 675 megawatts, turning the balance of the electricity exchange to positive 376 megawatts in Iran's favor.

Iran exchanges electricity with Armenia, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iraq and Afghanistan.
