Tehran, April 28, IRNA - Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Tuesday that resistance economy is the best means for Syria to get rid of hardship created by economic sanctions.

Syrian nation through practicing resistance economy can conquer difficulties and attain economy prosperity, he said.

Amir-Abdollahian made the remarks in a meeting with a Syrian political and economic delegation in Tehran on Tuesday.

Praising the brave resistance of Syrian nation against heavy pressures exerted by aliens against their struggles with terrorists, he said they should be thankful to the wise leadership, people's high spirit as well as the resistance made by their government and army.

Also referring to the unfair economic sanctions leveled against Syria and the failure of all plots hatched against the country at regional and international levels, he said the sanctions should be seized as an opportunity for self-reliance of Syrian people.
