TEHRAN (ISNA)- A delegation of Turkish Vatan Party (Patriotic Party) would arrive in Iran on Tuesday for talks with a number of political figures.

The delegation would arrive in Iran ahead of Turkish parliamentary elections scheduled for June 7. It would also visit other regional countries.

The delegation is led by Ismail Hakki Pekin who is in charge of the party’s foreign policy affairs. The Turkish politicians would meet with former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and some Iranian lawmakers.
