Tehran, April 21, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani departed here Tuesday for Jakarta to attend the summit of the Asian African Conference to be held in the Indonesian capital on April 22-24.

The president is visiting Jakarta at the invitation of his Indonesian counterpart Joko Widodo to take part in the 60th anniversary of the Asian African Conference known as Bandung Conference.

On the sidelines of the conference, President Rouhani will hold separate bilateral meetings with a number of leaders attending the event.

The Iranian president is also to address the conference.

The preparatory Ministerial Meeting of the Bandung Conference started work in Jakarta on April 20. It will end today.
