Tehran, April 9, IRNA – Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi said on Thursday that Iran has been witnessing new achievements in the field of its peaceful nuclear activities each year.

Salehi made the remarks during a ceremony held on the occassion of the ninth National Nuclear Technology Day. The ceremony was also attended by President Hassan Rouhani.

Iran has started celebrating its nuclear technology day since nine years ago, said the AEOI chief adding since then the country has been witnessing new achievements in its peaceful nuclear sector every year.

Salehi added remarkable achievements were unveiled by President Rouhani during this year's Nuclear Technology Day ceremony including three radioisotopes and the country's first-ever indigenous virtual fuel complex.
