Zangeneh happy with ministry performance

TEHRAN March 15(Shana)--Iran’s petroleum minister has given a positive assessment of his ministry’s track record in oil and gas development projects.

Bijan Namdar Zangeneh said in a message that the current Iranian year, which ends on March 20, saw phases 12 and 15&16 of the giant South Pars gas field start production.

He said natural gas replaced liquid fuel in refineries so that the country would see cleaner days.
Zangeneh also said that development work picked up speed at joint oil fields during the year.
He expressed confidence that Iranian petroleum industry will soon experience economic prosperity.
