A poll conducted by the Islamic Republic News Agency shows that 84.5 percent of Iranians view self-possession and calmness as the standout features of the president.

The poll, conducted in four stages in the past 12 months in the capital and 30 provincial centers, also suggests that 78 percent of Iranians are satisfied with President Rouhani’s performance, characteristic traits and behavior.

The respondents also praised the president’s other features, among them self-expression (85%), appearance (83.2%) and equanimity (82%).
