Iran, China trade up 72% from $39.54b to $51.85b in 2014: Customs

TEHRAN: Chinese General Administration of Customs recorded that the trade between Iran and China up 72%, from $39.54 billion to $51.85 billion in 2014.

In 2014, Iran’s export to China stood at $27.49 billion while its import from that country was valued at $24.36 billion, report added.

China was the leading importer of Iranian non-oil goods in the year to March 20, 2014, according to the Iran Customs Administration.

Iran exported $7.43 billion of non-oil goods to China and imported $9.66 billion of non-oil goods from that country.

Trade Promotion Organization of Iran Director, Valiollah Afkhami-Rad, said Iran’s annual non-oil exports were projected to rise by 50 percent and reach $47 billion by March 20, 2015.
