Sari, Mazandaran Province, Feb 24, IRNA -- University of Mazandaran in Iran and Astrakhan University in Russia have signed a memorandum of understanding for academic cooperation.




According to Mazandaran University Public Relations Office, the University President Fakhroddin Asghari Aghmashhadi said, in a student exchange program, 20 students of Russian language and literature in Mazandaran University will be transferred to Astrakhan University for three semesters.

In return, 20 students of Persian literature in Astrakhan University will pursue their studies in Mazandaran University.

Asghari, who visited Astrakhan last week, also said the two universities have agreed to have scientific connections through video-conferencing.
