Iran strives to clarify whereabouts of two engineers

Tehran, Feb 15, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said a special committee has been established to examine the condition of two Iranian engineers abducted in Syria three years ago.


In a meeting with the families of Pezhman Boveiri and Hassan Hassani, two Iranian engineers abducted in Syria, Amir-Abdollahian explained the efforts of Foreign Ministry and other related organizations during the past three years to determine what has happened to the Iranian abductees.
He said Foreign Ministry in all its contacts with the Government of Syria, other regional countries, United Nations officials, and related international organizations follows up the issue and will continue its all-out efforts in this regard.

Meanwhile, the families of the two abducted engineers asked the responsible officials to do their best to get information about their beloved ones.
