Iranian foreign ministry official heads to Moscow for nuclear talks

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Director General of the Iranian Foreign Ministry's Political and International Affairs Department Hamid Baidinejad left for Moscow on Wednesday for bilateral talks with Russian officials on disarmament and making required arrangements for Tehran-Moscow cooperation on nuclear talks.
The two sides would discuss bilateral cooperation on disarmament, the next Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) conference and implementing other treaties banning use of weapons of mass destruction.

They would also explore an initiative for establishing a Middle East free of nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction.

The two sides are going to confer on ways for more effective mutual cooperation on negotiations between Tehran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany.
