27 Jan 2015 - 14:41

TEHRAN Jan 26(Shana)--Minister of Petroleum Bijan Namdar Zangeneh has said that allocation of 650 million euros from the National Development Fund of Iran (NDFI) can lead to the startup of the Persian Gulf Star Refinery.
“Financial shortages are the most important concern with the progress of Persian Gulf Star Refinery,” the minister said.
Persian Gulf Star Refinery is expected to produce 360,000 b/d of condensate, 27 ml/d of regular gasoline, 9 ml/d of premium gasoline, 14 ml/d of gasoil and 3.37 ml/d of fuel jet.
Moreover, the facility would supply 3.81 ml/d of liquefied gas, 130,000 tons a day of sulfur and 468 tons a day of hydrogen.
A pipeline has already been built for transferring gas condensate from Assaluyeh to the refinery.
